'Leave India and take citizenship in Pakistan'; Shama Mohamed tells netizen after praising Dhurandhar

KOCHI: Congress spokesperson Shama Mohamed praised the movie ‘Dhurandhar Part 1’, lauding the direction and script work and the fantastic acting of Ranveer Singh. Though Shama admitted that she was late to watch the movie, the congress leader, unlike her party colleagues, went on praising the film.

Earlier, many Congress leaders had called the movie a propaganda that distorted facts in order to valorise PM Modi and BJP.

Some were irked over Shama praising the movie, which they believed had shown Muslims in a bad light. However, Shama made no change in her stance and even went to the extent of calling out the netizen for wrongly interpreting the movie plot just for the sake of criticising it.

“Dhurandhar did not show Muslims in a bad light but Pakistanis in bad light ! Shame on you for confusing the two. People like you spoil the name of Muslims in India. You are most welcome to leave India & take the citizenship of Pakistan” said Shama.

Dhurandhar part 1 grossed over 1000 crore at the box office, making it one of the most grossing movies ever in Bollywood history.
