Two terrorists working for Pakistan with ISIS links arrested; planned major blasts
LUCKNOW: Two terrorists working for a Pakistani group with ISIS links have been arrested. The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh has arrested both of them. Krishna Mishra (20), of Kushinagar, and Daniel Ashraf, a native of Barabanki, were arrested. The ATS said that the two were planning to carry out blasts at police stations and major centers of the country.
The crucial point was that the ATS received information that the two were working for Shahzad Bhatti, a gangster with links to ISIS. They had also tried to influence the youth through social media and money transfer systems. The phone numbers of many Pakistani gangsters were also found on Daniel's phone.
Videos and voice messages related to ISIS groups were found on the phone. The ATS found that they had sent videos and locations of a police station in another state. They had also requested weapons from Pakistani gangsters. The ATS also found evidence that Krishna was planning to kill a police officer. Pistols and electronic devices were seized from them.
