Snake found inside running scooter, tried to crawl onto rider's hand; narrow escape for youth in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A snake was caught from inside a moving scooter in Kerala. The snake was found in the scooter of Anfas, a native of Purameri. Videos of the incident are now circulating on social media.

The incident happened while Anfas was returning home from a relative's house in Chalappuram. When he reached near the Nadapuram Police Station, he felt something crawling onto his hand from the scooter's mirror area. He then immediately stopped the vehicle and called a nearby mechanic. After removing and checking the front portion of the scooter, they found and caught the snake.

Frightened by the incident, Anfas went to a hospital to make sure he had not been bitten by the snake before returning home. The young man had travelled several kilometres on the scooter and narrowly escaped a snake bite.
