Uncomfortable with director's conduct? 'Arjun Reddy' heroine's video goes viral on social media

The India Design ID event held in Mumbai went viral for the wrong reasons after a video involving actress Shalini Pandey was discussed on social media. While appearing in front of paparazzi, Pandey was joined by anchor and film director Faraz Arif Ansari.

However, social media judged the director’s conduct unseemly after a video emerged of him holding the actress by her waist and later running his fingers over her body. Many said the actress was not in her comfort zone but was putting up a smiley face just to not ruin the event.

Even celebrities, including South Indian playback singer Chinmayi Sripaada, responded to the issue.

“Thank you for the demonstration, man in glasses. Whoever you are,” wrote Chinmayi in scathing criticism of the director.

Meanwhile, another section opined that the director may be a close friend and associate of the actress, judging by the authority with which he held the actress at a public event. Shalini Pandey rose to fame through the superhit movie Arjun Reddy, which was released in 2017.
