Star couple engaged in PR work against Joju; it's their usual tactics, says Lakshmi Menon

Actor Joju George had stepped forward levelling serious allegations against a famous star couple of the Malayalam film industry. Joju responded via Instagram live against the planned negative campaigns against him soon after the release of his latest film ‘Varavu’. Joju had alleged that apart from the star couple, many leading actors of Malayalam films engage in paid PR work. The actor also claimed that there is a deliberate attempt to attack him personally.

Now, Lakshmi Menon, vlogger and wife of actor Mithun Ramesh, has reacted on the issue. She responded by giving hints at the identity of the celebrity couple Joju was referring to. ‘Isn't this the usual tactics of that spineless husband and his wife? We're above all that, brother,’ she said in her Instagram story. Lakshmi did not mention any names, and neither did Joju during his live session. As a result, speculation over the identity of the celebrity couple has become a major topic of discussion in the Malayalam film industry.

Meanwhile, Varavu, directed by Shaji Kailas and written by A K Sajan, has received mixed responses in theatres. Joju George plays the role of Paulson of the high ranges, in the film.
