Divorced after 13 years; Vinu Mohan, Vidya’s Marriage reportedly comes to an end

Malayalam cinema actors Vinu Mohan and Vidya have reportedly ended their marriage, bringing an end to their 13-year relationship. Reports of trouble between the couple had been doing the rounds for some time, and they are said to have been living separately for about a month. According to the latest reports, the two decided to part ways by mutual consent. Neither Vinu nor Vidya has made an official statement on the matter so far.

Vinu and Vidya, who fell in love while working in the film industry, got married in 2013. They went on to become a familiar pair among Malayalam audiences, appearing in films and stage shows together. Both were active on social media and often shared glimpses of their life together. However, their recent absence from each other’s social media accounts had sparked speculation about their relationship. Vinu had removed pictures featuring Vidya from his Instagram page, while Vidya’s profile continues to carry her married name, Vidya Vinu Mohan. The exact reason for their reported separation remains unclear.

Vinu made his debut as a lead actor with Nivedyam and later appeared in films including Cycle, Chattambinadu and Pulimurugan. Vidya made her acting debut as the female lead in the 2007 Tamil film Dhandayuthapani and entered Malayalam cinema with Neelambari in 2009. She has since appeared in several Malayalam films, including Cheriya Kallanum Valiya Policum and Maharaja Talkies, besides working in Tamil and Kannada cinema. Vidya has also been active on television, particularly in Tamil and Malayalam serials.
