Massive fire breaks out at Bengaluru Majestic Railway Station on platform No 1 

BENGALURU: A major fire broke out at the Majestic Railway Station in Bengaluru on Platform No 1. The fire was first spotted in a coach of a stationary train. Within moments, the fire spread rapidly, completely destroying the affected coach.

On being informed, the railway officials and fire and rescue personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control. No casualties have been reported so far.
A preliminary assessment suggests that a short circuit may have caused the incident. Railway police have launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
