Sub inspector suffers head injury as police team comes under attack in Karunagappally

KOLLAM: Miscreants unleashed violence in Karunagapally. The cops were attacked and, in the melee, the sub inspector sustained serious injuries. The attack was towards Adoor sub inspector Jinu and his team.

The incident happened when the police team came to arrest Rejin, an accused in a murder attempt case registered by the Adoor police. One from the group took a brick and hit the sub inspector on his head.

Rejin, Reshma, Ramya and Harsha, all natives of Karunagappally, have been arrested in the incident.
