'Physically assaulted Aditya near Thalassery old bus stand'; Family comes out with more allegations against boyfriend Sharan

KANNUR: Police registered the arrest of one person in the death of a guest lecturer of Kannur University, who died by suicide. Sharan, a native of Manekkara, Panniyannur, was arrested.

Aditya was admitted to the hospital last Sunday following a suicide attempt. She passed away at 4 pm yesterday. Relatives alleged that Aditya tried to commit suicide after being beaten by her friend Sharan in public the other day. The Pannoor police registered a case against Sharan based on the statement of the woman's mother. Anil Kumar is Aditya's father. Brother: Advait.

According to the family, Sharan physically assaulted Aditya at the Thalassery old bus stand area on June 8. The incident left her in pain. After one week from the incident, Aditya attempted suicide on June 14th. The family rushed her to the hospital, but her life could not be saved.

The family alleged that both Aditya and Sharan were in love for a long time. Still, the relationship was far from perfect as they said Sharan used to torture Aditya physically and mentally.
