TEHRAN: Military tensions between the US and Iran are escalating. The US is continuing its airstrikes on Iran's strategic cities and ports for the fifth consecutive day. It is reported that 35 people have been killed in the US attack so far. About 300 people have been injured. Attacks on Iran's air defense systems, radar stations, and drone launch sites are presently continuing. Iran is also targeting American military bases in the Gulf region.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has come forward with a warning to Iran. Trump has threatened to destroy everything if Iran does not reach an agreement with the US soon and that a very powerful attack will be carried out against Iran in the next three days. Trump stated in an interview that the next phase of the attack will target Iran's energy plants and bridges. Trump added that a ground attack is possible soon. Trump said the US is monitoring an underground facility called Pickaxe Mountain, suspected of being part of Iran's nuclear program, and will strike immediately if there is any activity there. The goal is to disrupt Iran's ability to threaten international shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
