'What about your son? Did he marry her?' Actress Maala Parvathi responds to online comment

Actress Maala Parvathi responded to a provocative comment from a user that appeared on her post on Facebook. What irked the actress was the comment regarding her son misbehaving with a transgender person, which created a lot of fuss a few years ago.

“Wasn’t there a huge uproar regarding your son misbehaving with a transgender person and sending photos of his private parts? What is the status of that case now? I think as a person who upholds morality, you might have made your son marry the person he offended” This was the comment that appeared on Parvathi’s Facebook page.

“Seema Vineeth got married. I told her I will support her if she files a case, but she didn’t. Honour doesn’t come with money. Our family will have to bear the humiliation from society for eternity. Due to the same allegation, my son has not even appeared in any public events for the last six years. For the people who are bound to attack me at all instances, let me remind you: the stance I take on general issues is never intended to gain any personal advantage. For the same reason, I will always stand with what I feel is right. If I understand my mistake, I will correct it, and there is no shame in doing that,” said Maala Parvathi.

Six years ago, Seema Vineeth raised serious allegations against Maala Parvathy's son Ananthakrishnan for sending her abusive text messages and pictures. Seema had also posted screenshots of the messages sent by Ananthakrishnan. Seema had also stated that Maala Parvathi apologised when she came to know about the incident.
