From wedding gift to street fight; iPhone dispute leaves husband bare-chested

MEERUT: A public argument between a husband and wife over an iPhone turned into an ugly roadside confrontation in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, drawing a crowd and briefly disrupting traffic.

The incident, which was caught on video and has since gone viral on social media, took place near Victoria Park under the Civil Lines police station limits. It involved Sonam and her husband, Sanjit Bharti, a gym trainer.

According to reports, Sonam demanded that Sanjit return the iPhone she had gifted him at the time of their wedding. When he refused, the argument escalated. She allegedly grabbed his shirt by the collar and tore it during the confrontation.
With his shirt ripped, Sanjit took it off and walked bare-chested along the busy road as stunned onlookers watched. Throughout the altercation, Sonam was seen speaking on her mobile phone.

The commotion attracted a large crowd, causing a temporary traffic slowdown before police reached the spot and dispersed the onlookers.
