Woman stabs husband to death, puts intestines in bag, jumps off building

HARYANA: After stabbing her husband to death, the wife took out his intestines. The incident happened at Kurukshetra in Haryana. The dead is Rajesh, who was staying in a rented house with his wife near Raj Palace on Pehowa Road. Rajesh's wife Vimala Devi jumped from the terrace after the incident. The injured Vimala has been admitted to the hospital. Rinku, the owner of the house, said that he heard the couple shouting at around 5 pm.

Hearing the commotion, Rinku rushed to the terrace and found Rajesh lying in a pool of blood with severe injuries to his abdomen. Rinku said that he saw Vimala putting Rajesh's intestines that had come out of his body, into a bag. On seeing Rinku, she panicked and jumped from the terrace, he said. Rajesh, who hails from Dhampur village in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, has been living in Kurukshetra with his wife for a year. Rajesh was working in the supply department of a water trading company on Pehowa Road.

The postmortem revealed that his abdomen had been cut open to around 35 cms with deep wounds caused by sharp edged weapon. His intestines had come out of his abdomen. The postmortem also found that a portion of his liver and the right kidney were missing. The police have launched an investigation into the incident. Three knives of different sizes were recovered from the spot. Rajesh and Vimala, had been married for several years but had no children.
