THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Isolated rain is likely to continue in Kerala, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing weather warnings until Tuesday, the day before Thiruvonam. No district has been issued a rain forecast for Thiruvonam.

A yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kannur and Kasaragod districts today. Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam will be under a yellow alert tomorrow. Fishing has been banned along the Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts today.

Due to the possibility of the Kallakkadal phenomenon, coastal areas from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur are likely to experience high waves and sea incursions until 11.30 pm today.
