Anganwadi teacher dies after shawl gets entangled around neck

THRISSUR: An Anganwadi teacher died after a shawl got entangled around her neck while travelling in a scooter. The incident happened Tuesday morning at Puthuruthy in Thrissur’s Wadakkanchery. The dead is Mini Varghese (52), wife of Varghese of Alappadan house in Puthuruthy. She was a teacher of Anganwadi Chathanpadi 116 number in Puthuruthy.

The accident happened when she was on her way to the Anganwadi. She was riding pillion on her relative’s electric scooter. Meanwhile, her shawl got entangled around her neck and she fell on the road. The locals gathered there rushed her to Thrissur Medical College Hospital, but her life could not be saved.
