Former All India Radio Deputy Director General N S Isaac passes away

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former All India Radio (AIR) Deputy Director General N. S. Isaac passed away on Monday. He was 79. He died at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday evening while undergoing treatment for an illness. Isaac had served as the Director of AIR stations in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kannur and Puducherry.

He was a member of the Narakathinkal family, Melukavu, near Thodupuzha. His wife, Susamma Isaac, is a retired Reserve Bank manager. He is survived by his daughters Sunitha Isaac and Anitha Isaac.

The mortal remains will be brought to his residence in Mudavanmugal, Thiruvananthapuram, at 9 am on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2.30 pm at the Palayam CSI Christ Church Cemetery after the prayers at his home.
