House locked for four days; Three of family missing in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: Three members of a family have been missing for four days in Vaniyamkulam. Babu Bhaskar (68) of Vaniyamkulam, his wife Remadevi (65) and son Vishnu (32) have gone missing from their house 'Krishna Kripa'. The Shoranur police have registered a case and started an investigation following the complaint of their relatives.

Their house was found locked for the past four days. When their relatives could not contact them on their phone, informed their neighbors. They had told their neighbors that they were going to attend a wedding function at a relative's house. However, it is reported that there was no such function in their relative's house.

CCTV footage of their pickup vehicle leaving the house on Thursday morning has been obtained. Whether all three were in the vehicle is suspicious. The police informed that the last location seen was Panayur, where the house is located, after checking the mobile phone tower location. The family, who ran their own business, had some financial obligations. The police will also investigate whether they are staying somewhere else due to the financial crisis.
