THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the possibility of rain in Kerala in the next five days. Yellow alerts have been sounded in several districts. Isolated heavy rainfall has been predicted in some areas. Heavy rainfall refers to rainfall measuring between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm within 24 hours. The IMD has also said that there is no restriction on fishing activities today (08/09/2026) along the Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts.
