Chief Minister VD Satheesan will move into Cliff House tomorrow, housewarming at 6 am

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister VD Satheesan will move into Cliff House, the official residence allowed to the Kerala Chief Minister, on Thursday. The housewarming ceremony will be held at 6 am. Although former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had vacated the residence earlier, Satheesan delayed his shift to the official residence owing to maintenance work.

V.D. Satheesan currently lives in the Cantonment House belonging to the Leader of the Opposition. Therefore, the current Leader of the Opposition, Pinarayi Vijayan, was not able to move to the Cantonment House, and Pinarayi had publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with this.

Cliff House, spread over an area of ​​10,000 square feet and located on 6 acres and 25 cents in Nanthancode, is being renovated by the Public Works Department. It is learnt that the work is not yet complete.
