NIAGARA: Eighteen-year-old Anahat Singh has become the first Indian to win the World Junior Squash Championship. She defeated Egypt's Ruqayya Salem 3-0 in the final of the tournament held in Canada to clinch the historic title.

With the victory, Anahat also ended Egypt's 16-year dominance in the World Junior Squash Championships.
