Keir Starmer unfazed! Former UK Prime Minister hits London pub a day after resignation

LONDON: Just a day after resigning from his post as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer headed straight to a London pub with his loyalists. According to news outlet The Sun, Starmer, along with the resigned Chancellor, went to The Pineapple pub in Kentish Town, north London.

The photos that emerged on 'The Sun' showed all of the former power circle, including Starmer, having a great time together, unlike what was expected to be a meeting to share grievance and sorrow over their departure from 10 Downing Street.

On Monday, Sir Keir delivered his farewell speech in front of Downing Street and headed straight to Buckingham Palace to officially hand over his resignation letter.

“I go with a smile, and I go proud of everything that we have achieved,” Starmer said before handing over the reins to new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
