Assam Rifles soldier killed, four injured in Nagaland IED blast

CHÜMOUKEDIMA: An Assam Rifles soldier was killed and four others were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion near Sukhovi in Nagaland’s Chümoukedima district.

The casualty figures were confirmed by the Defence Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Kohima. The blast occurred near an Assam Rifles vehicle.
The injured personnel have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Following the explosion, security forces have launched a widespread search operation in the area.
