HYDERABAD: A man out on anticipatory bail in a sexual assault case in Rangareddy, Telangana, went on a killing spree. The accused, Rajkumar (35), killed his wife, children, a minor girl who had filed a case against him and her family members on Friday night. After the horrific murders, Rajkumar went at large.
Rajkumar first attacked his wife, Parvathy Saritha (30) and two sons, aged four and one, at their house in Shahbad. Then, he went to the house of the 17-year-old teen who had filed a complaint against him and killed the girl, her 45-year-old mother and the girl's 65-year-old grandmother. Although the girl's 20-year-old disabled sister was at the house at the time of the incident, he spared her.
It is reported that after the murders, Rajkumar confessed to the crime to his father on a phone call. The accused told his father, 'I did it. I killed these people.' The phone was then switched off. A search was intensified for the accused, who went into hiding. Rajkumar told his father that he would commit suicide, but nothing has been confirmed yet. A special team has been formed to find the accused, and an investigation is ongoing. The police said that they have received some clues about the accused and will take him into custody soon.
