NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that those responsible for the NEET question paper leak would be punished. He also instructed NDA MPs to meet students directly and address their concerns. The Prime Minister made the remarks while addressing the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, titled 'Mangal Milan'.

Modi directed MPs to assure students that their interests would be protected. He also said that those arrested in connection with the question paper leak would face the strictest punishment.

However, the Prime Minister also said that students should be made aware of what he described as opposition conspiracies. His remarks came amid student protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) over the NEET issue.

Meanwhile, the Monsoon Session of Parliament began on Monday amid protests inside and outside the House over alleged irregularities in the conduct of examinations and the NEET question paper leak. In his address ahead of the session, the Prime Minister highlighted the progress made by India's youth and spoke about their achievements.
