‘CPM leaders should go to an old-age school to learn how to behave respectfully towards public,’ says G Sudhakaran 

ALAPPUZHA: Ambalappuzha MLA G Sudhakaran came forward again launching a strong criticism against the CPM leaders. He said elderly CPM leaders should attend an old-age school and learn how to behave respectfully towards the public. There is no point in abusing opponents and that is why all of them lost, Sudhakaran said while speaking at a meeting of a residents’ association in Alappuzha.

‘Why was a protest march staged to my office? Even the police supported it. The police in Ambalappuzha still have not realized that the government has changed. I do not need anyone’s favour, added Sudhakaran.

CPM district secretary Nazar had earlier said that Sudhakaran was a traitor and that he would be dealt with if continued with the same approach. The warning was during a CPM march staged to the MLA’s office on Saturday. If Sudhakaran did not change his attitude, it could lead to a major law-and-order issue. Public insults must stop. Political differences should not be settled in this way. If he continues to attack the party, CPM workers who have the ability to respond will react. This is not a threat; it will happen, and no one will be able to control it,’ Nazar said.

Responding to his remarks, Sudhakaran said, you can handle me. The people have already dealt with the CPM. The district secretary is a leader being isolated from the people. He has neither the intellectual ability nor the physical strength to bring back public support, mocked Sudhakaran.
