Case against ‘Mollywood Times’ for screening censored sleazy dialogues

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been filed against the film 'Mollywood Times', directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak and starring Nazlin in the lead role. The case has been registered by the Thiruvallam police on the complaint of regional officer of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The complaint alleged that the censored portion was screened in the theater. The case was registered against the film's director, producer, distributor and the digital creator. The complaint also said the sleazy dialogues censored in the film were played in the theater as they were. The FIR mentioned that the film 'Mollywood Times' was modified in violation of the rules after obtaining permission from central government’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
