Nine-year-old boy dies during surgery in Kasargod General Hospital, case registered

KASARGOD: A nine-year-old boy died during surgery at the Kasargod General Hospital. The boy has been identified as Muhammed Iyas, son of Ashraf Musaliyar of Thalekunnu Bedakam. He was a student of fourth class of Kundamkuzhy Government School.

He was subjected to a surgery following stomach ailments. The doctors told his family that he suffered heart attack during the surgery. His relatives had stepped forward staging protests against the hospital. An investigation has started after registering a case.
