NEW DELHI: The INDIA bloc march to the Supreme Court demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation is ongoing in the national capital. Activists from various political parties within the INDIA bloc have united for this 'Chalo Delhi' march. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, CPM General Secretary M.A. Baby, MP Priyanka Gandhi, and AISA President Neha Bora are proceeding to the Supreme Court in a specially arranged bus.

Party workers are arriving for the protest march in three buses. Alongside the buses, workers are marching towards Mandi House, raising slogans. The plan is to proceed from the Constitution Club via Rafi Marg and cross Ashoka Marg to reach the Supreme Court. Rahul Gandhi had announced this to be a peaceful march. Earlier, the INDIA alliance sought permission to meet Chief Justice Surya Kant, but was denied. The alliance still intends to meet the Chief Justice in person to submit the memorandum.

Heavy security arrangements have been put in place in Delhi in view of the protest. The INDIA bloc plans to turn any location where the police halt their march into a protest site. Along with the leaders, a large number of party workers are ambling towards the Supreme Court premises.
