Promise not kept; CJP announces India Gate march, Families of NEET victims to participate

NEW DELHI: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced another strike as part of its intensified protest against the central government. CJP will hold a march from India Gate on September 5. The march will head toward the Delhi Police headquarters. The decision came after the CJP meeting held this afternoon.

The CJP is organising another protest at Jantar Mantar to protest the central government's failure to fulfil promises made to end the protest. The main demands put forward by the CJP were to cancel the FIRs filed against the protesters and provide compensation to the families of students who committed suicide following the leak of NEET exam papers. The CJP announced that the families of the students who committed suicide will also participate in the march.

Meanwhile, the police registered an FIR against CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and five others for entering a government school without permission, threatening teachers and disrupting classes. The incident took place in Maharashtra's Latur district.

Dipke landed in controversy while visiting government schools as part of the 'School Theek Karo' (Fix Schools) campaign. According to the complaint, a group entered a government school in Latur without permission and argued with teachers and threatened them. Following the incident, the school authorities informed the police.
