THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The timings of trains operating via the Konkan route, including the Mangala and Netravati Express, will change from the 21st. The monsoon timetable, which came into effect on June 15, will end on the 20th. The Railways has advised passengers to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) for the revised timings of trains operating on this route.
The departure time of the Netravati Express from Thiruvananthapuram will remain unchanged at 9.15 am. However, it will reach Shoranur at 4.20 pm instead of 3.40 pm and Kannur at 7.32 pm instead of 6.37 pm. On the return journey to Thiruvananthapuram, the train will reach Mangaluru at 4.20 am instead of 5.45 am, Kannur at 6.32 am instead of 8.07 am, Ernakulam at 12.20 pm instead of 2.10 pm, and Thiruvananthapuram at 6.10 pm instead of 7.35 pm.
The departure time of the Mangala Express from Ernakulam will also change. It will leave at 1.25 pm instead of 10.30 am. On the return journey, it will reach Mangaluru at 10.35 pm instead of 11.35 pm, Shoranur at 4.10 am instead of 5.15 am, and Ernakulam at 7.30 am instead of 8 am.
