NEET UG re-examination on Sunday; nationwide mock drill to be held tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that a nationwide mock drill will be conducted tomorrow as part of the NEET UG re-examination preparations. The mock drill is being organised as part of security checks. The NTA said in a press release that all arrangements for the re-examination have been completed. District administrations, police forces, and special escort teams have been assigned to ensure the safe transportation of examination materials to the centres.

The exam will be held on Sunday from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. The test will be conducted in offline mode. More than 22.79 lakh candidates will appear for the re-examination across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Eligible candidates from the differently-abled category will be given additional time to write the exam until 6.20 pm.
