Operation Toofan: 143 people arrested on Tuesday; MDMA and other narcotic substances seized

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A total of 132 cases were registered and 143 people were arrested on Tuesday following the inspections conducted across the state as part of Operation Toofan. Police seized 1.656 grams of MDMA, 4.812 kg of cannabis, 9.512 grams of methamphetamine, and one cannabis plant from those arrested.

So far, a total of 3,657 cases have been registered under Operation Toofan, resulting in the arrest of 3,931 people. The total seizure includes 1,813.75884 grams of MDMA and 333.69 kg of cannabis.
