Shubman Gill, Tendulkar family in Wimbledon royal box, wedding rumours surge

LONDON: India's Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill was in attendance along with Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London. A picture of Gill watching the match with Sachin and his wife Anjali in the Royal Box on Centre Court is going viral. Gill is the fourth Indian captain to be invited to watch a Wimbledon match from the Royal Box. Sachin, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were the previous invitees.

Earlier, Gill had also attended the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone Circuit as a special guest. This was Gill's first Formula One race experience.

Sachin and Gill appearing together in London amplified rumours of the Indian captain’s relationship with Sachin's daughter Sara. Though it has been a few years since the gossip doing the rounds on social media, neither Gill nor Sara has responded to it.
