Nadda slams Rahul Gandhi over NEET leak protests, accuses Congress of double standards

NEW DELHI: Union Minister J.P. Nadda has hit out at Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi over student protests in Delhi demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in connection with the NEET question paper leak.

Responding to Rahul's remarks, Nadda accused the Congress of double standards, stating that student welfare is being sidelined to exploit protests for political gain. Rahul had earlier charged the central government with inadequate action, calling recurring paper leaks a grave issue affecting students' futures and alleging that over 150 question papers leaked during the BJP's tenure.

Countering the allegations, Nadda questioned why the Congress remains selective regarding paper leaks in regions administered by the party or its allies. He pointed out that question papers have also leaked in the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board exams, the Himachal Pradesh School Examination Board exams, the Jharkhand Academic Council exams, and the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) exams, asking why the opposition leadership fails to address leaks in states under its own governance.
